The underdog, Joey Wheeler's ace card is finally getting new support. First Blue-Eyes got new stuff, then Dark Magician, and now finally Red-Eyes! And this underdog is getting far better support than Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician could ever dream of.

Red-Eyes Fusion

Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists a "Red-Eyes" monster as a Fusion Material, using monsters from your hand, Deck, or your side of the field as Fusion Materials, but its name becomes "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" while it is face-up on the field. You cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters except by this card's effect, during the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Red-Eyes Fusion" per turn.

Black Dragon Archfiend

1 Level 6 "Archfiend" Normal Monster + 1 "Red-Eyes" Normal Monster
If this card attacks or is attacked, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this Fusion Summoned card attacked or was attacked: You can target 1 "Red-Eyes" Normal Monster in your Graveyard; inflict damage to your opponent equal to that target's original ATK, then shuffle that target into the Deck. You can only Special Summon "Black Dragon Archfiend(s)" once per turn.

The Black Stone of Legend

You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower "Red-Eyes" monster from your Deck, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick". If this card is in your Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 7 or lower "Red-Eyes" monster in your Graveyard, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick"; shuffle it into the Deck, and if you do, return this card from your Graveyard to your hand. You can only use 1 "Black Stone of Legend" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Red-Eyes Lightning Lord

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is a Normal Monster on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect.
● Once per turn: You can destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls with DEF lower than this card's ATK.

Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is a Normal Monster on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect.
● At the end of a Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked: You can inflict damage to your opponent equal to this card's original ATK. You can only use this effect of "Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon" once per turn.

Red-Eyes is bringing cool back to Gemini's and Beat Burn! The theme behind this archetype is very original of Konami and I'm gonna be sure to use these guys.

I'm intrigued as to why they're doing this. Maybe it has something to do with the new movie, maybe we will get a new season with the old characters. That'd be fun! to get new support for old themes.

On topic, they look cool and all but I'm not feeling how they'd change the gameplay of a REBD deck as they are. Cept maybe black stone of legend, of course.

They didn't change the concept, really. Was already fusion based, as seen by B.Skull and MBD, while also having beat-burn, as seen by Inferno Fire Blast. Only thing really added to the concept was Gemini

But let's be honest here: B Skull Dragon? Who ever played it? Ever? I did back when I was 14, but back then it was all about having beat sticks.

B.Skull Dragon is that card that you spend all day and night trying to get in Yugioh Forbidden Memories, only to eventually look up how to get it and realize you can't.

And on topic of being honest: when was Red-Eyes EVER a viable deck? The deck and it's concept have just simply never been good or viable, and Konami is fixing that.

As Yugi said in the movie when he summoned Meteor B. Dragon: "Red-Eyes is a card of unlimited potential." That potential is being untapped.

Edit: Also, there's a draw card.

Card of Red Jewel

Normal Spell Card
You can only activate 1 “Card of Red Jewel” per turn.
Send 1 Level 7 “Red-Eyes” monster from your hand to the Graveyard; draw 2 cards, then you can send 1 Level 7 “Red-Eyes” monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

It has potential but they just won't admit the fact. Like at Blue Eyes stuff. They give it 2 cards every now and then and they make it's deck actually playable every time.

Red eyes is just there in a corner saying "I can fuse! I can fuse with other stuff... any takers?"

So, red eyes fusion is basically a free 3200 beater followed by a 2400 burn? When you consider all the sending to grave crap you have to include dragon's mirror as well. Fusions!

Perhaps there's something to be said about red-eyes fusion making the fusion monster into red eyes?

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Inferno_Fire_Blast

Make meteor, instant 3500 burn for EACH inferno in your hand. Or just make archfiend cos it's probably more useful.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, if archfiend is treated as red eyes black dragon when summoned, doesn't that render the " You can only Special Summon "Black Dragon Archfiend(s)" once per turn." clause useless? Because, you're not summoning archfiend. You're summoning red-eyes. So you could summon a second by dragon's mirror or w/e?

Finally, lemme finish by reiterating upon that clause. " You can only Special Summon "Black Dragon Archfiend(s)" once per turn."
"Black Dragon Archfiend(s)"
"(s)"

Inb4 konami make a card that summons a load at once.

Fun fact: The only way to summon Black Dragon Archfiend with material from the deck is with Red-Eyes and Summoned Skull.
