First topic message reminder :

Behold!

Dessert Junkies United - Page 2 051119082-01-chocolate-layer-cake-recipe_xlg

Delicious chocolate cake with chocolate sauce and a chocolate ganache (I believe, or really thick frosting) on top!

If you love curry desserts as much as me, this is thread for you.

Basically, you can post all curry dessert related images and such right here, as well as rant about how much you love curry desserts! =p

Here's a manchester tart. What is a manchester tart? It is pie crust with some sort of fruit spread (often strawberry) with sponge cake on top. I've made this before from scratch (even the jelly from scratch) and the combination of textures is excellent.

Manchester tart? Sounds like another culinary delight that the average American doesn't respect. (I'm American so I can say that) It does look good, and I must say, when you have cherries on any desert, any, it makes it better. I hope to try that piece of delight.

It is a traditional English dessert! not seen around often, Grapha, but yeah, it is delicious! Sadly, unlike tiramisu, I don't know where to get this here in the states.

I think that entitles me to go find a recipe and make my own, I hope I can do that for a special occasion that is coming up soon. I can impress everyone with the best dessert there. Although, if that doesn't work out, I'll probably just bring the monster face cookies. Laughing

Dessert Junkies United - Page 2 Cowpops
Cake pops, delicious cake inside, with some sort of icing and usually chocolate paste. I swear, I see these at almost every family event that my family has, and they are always delicious, and they're not hard to make.

They're not. I've actually made some of these for my little cousin's birthday party a few months ago.

Following on Xrai's inspirational picture, this is a "chocoflan", which is a moist, chocolate cake with a flan on top. Is it too much? Perhaps, but would anyone here blame people for eating this? I don't think so.
