So, uh, sorry for being Super Hero ignorant, what's the difference here?

Carnage and Venom look the same. What difference is there between the two...?

Allow me:

Venom:



The original Symbiote. Very muscular, very big. Has the same powers as Spider Man but severely enhanced. Has the Spider Logo in the chest and back. Venom has actually become a hero (Eddie Brock), since he's not *exactly* bad. Other incarnations of Venom are pretty bad, but not the original. His tongue always shows with a green goo.

Carnage:



Red with some black parts that are both in shading and not. Leaner, more of a swimmer body vs the body builder Venom. No tongue, only fangs. His powers are less Spider Man, more making tools for hacking, slashing and stabbing. The guy is insane. He's not Joker insane, he's a "I kill everyone at any time in any way in every way just because I'm there". He's a psychopath through and through.

I always thought is was a species thing with their logos.

Spidey is an Arachnid, Venoms logo is a Black Widow, and Carnage is a Tiger Spider
