I remember this topic on our old site, and I actually really liked it, so I decided, let's make it here.

Basically, just give us the story behind your username. Why did you pick that specific username? Is there a special reason for it, or is it one of those names that you just randomly typed out when signing up for the site?

My story: When I was in middle school, I loved the Gate Keeper book series, and my favourite book in the series was called Night Rise. During that time, a tragic event occurred in my life, and I got really dark and depressing, with my mood rising during the night. As a result some of my friends started to call me "Night". Then, when I entered high school and got on the internet, the first community I joined was a bunch of anime otakus on a site called L.I.R. When I joined, I made "Night Rise" my username, basing it off of the book, partly because I liked the book, and partly because my friends already called me "Night". Then, one of my friends on the site, Yuma, translated it to Anglicized-Japanese, and the end result was the name "Naito Raizu." It stuck, so I've been using it ever since.

Well, at the time of choosing this name for Dueling Network, I had really been into dark world scumming, and I knew Blue Eyes was a really popular card, everyone knows about it, so I decided to blend them, it ended being awesome! I have stuck with the name for everything Yu-Gi-Oh related since.

Naito, tell the origin of yours too. :<

Lightning is cool.
Rai means lightning in Japanese.
Japanese is cool.
Shion was my sad attempt at sounding cool.
Now you have a lame name like XraishionX.

I blame BWG's DN name, it sounded cool so I picked a diff variant of et. Step by step it become Skitoritto, that's all really.

Oh god my name.....

So I was strolling on the streets one day asking kids if they want kandy. of course they happily accepted it. I'd do this for days giving them kandy. I soon became known as Mr.Kandy to the helpless children that took the kandy, because they didnt know my real name. To this day I'm still giving out kandy in parks ect.

Pronounce as fearwel(Make sure to pronounce the L)
It's an elf name that I kinda fell in love with at 1st sight
Later on I realized it's a somewhat common name among elves.

Lainion(Son of freedom) is just a cover name(I like it though due to my love of freedom) I used to take a look at like all academies out there after leaving DA(and realized they are all somewhat boring& not classy) but well...I got used to getting called Lain to be honest.

Mine is is rather simple, it is a combination of the two yugioh games that I spent to most time on,

Yay posting this story for the third time!

Well my very first username totally was not LOKOS or as some may think SOKOL. Nobody even remembers that username so I won't even remind

The username LOKOS origin comes from some time ago when I liked to play CounterStrike 1.6. One day I had hard time in what to change my nickname into, when someone told me to use word SOKOL. I liked it so I kept it. Later on when I started visiting forums and stuff I decided to use SOKOL, instead of my overly long previous username. But then I understood that I have grown tired of that nickname so I had no clue what to do! But one day I simply read it from the other side. I liked that and used it, that is all lel. Overly long story for an unneeded explanation :>

My name use to be Carly Phoenix online, but that name gotten old, so i changed it to Kurono Sato. Kurono meaning Belonging to Darkness. But, one day I got bored with just Kurono, so I started to look into Jap last names and found Sato. Sato means Wise. From what I found. So, yeah. Haha! Never changing my name again! Plus, I like the little nickname Naito gave me, Kuro. Kinda cute, don't ya think?

Kuro, that nickname is funny on Yugoslavian .

Well. My first username ever made on a website was fatassmonkey. Soon I found DN and thought that name was a tad bit immature, so I changed it to something related to ygo, BlueeyeswhiteDragon (or something like that). But I forgot the password, email and username. So I just made a new account and named it DRAGON_MASTER_KNIGHT. When I got to the original DA. Amy told me my name was too long so I had to shorten it, and walla I came to be called DMK. ._.

You mean Dick_Master_Knight. ;D
