Irate or Uryū here, this time with an announcement regarding our chatbox in the bottom right of the screen.

To summarize the changes with two sentences: forumotion (our forum host) has implemented a completely new chat. As a consequence, the chat in the bottom right was removed, and you will most likely be experiencing issues on the fullscreen chatbox.

If you are experiencing errors on the fullscreen chatbox, please make sure to clear your browser's cache and try again. If the issues persist, create a new thread asking for help in the Support desk.

There has not been an ETA on how long this transition to a fully working chat will be, but until then, we beg your pardon for any issues this has caused, as it is out of our influence.

Did you try clearing your cache? The chatbox is working fine for me most of the time now.

The chatbox works every now and then for me.

The chat box at the lower end of the forum is still gone for me O.o

It'll stay disabled until further notice.

I'll see if I can create a temporary pop-up chatbox, though it'll most likely be just the full-screen page displayed an IFrame, so expect no additional features just yet.

The little pop up chat box was so useful.

It will be fixed, but we have to wait for Avacweb to do it because it's their chatbox enhancement. Due to new things FM did, Avac needs to update their enhancement to the chat too. Unfortunately FM did not finish fixing bugs yet.

Time to play the waiting game.

OK, update time. I crafted a pop-up chat myself in a few minutes, which will be available on every page, however it is just an IFrame containing the forum chat, and there are no special features for it. It does mean that you do not need to use the full-screen chatbox anymore, though.

Well that's... I'm impressed! Way to go, Irate =p.

Now we can go back to chat activities!... maybe.

I forgot to mention that the new pop-up chat will continue to be disabled for mobile users, just like the previous one. We still strongly encourage you to use the /chatbox page found in the right widgets to chat on your phone.

Isn't Irate great?

Forumotion fixed all the bugs that were present in the new chatbox code. They said we can report if any new bugs occur, so please let us know if you got more problems with it

At the moment they seem to have taken the options that were present besides login. That is not a bug, either they are working on something there or they just didn't see more need for it.

Avacweb will try to release their update too, until then our popup chat is Irate's work and it works
